Ross Rowing Club

Want to join the crew?Something local residents agree on unanimously is that one of the very best things about the area is the beautiful Wye, and there's no better - or healthier - way to take full advantage than by joining the Ross Rowing Club. The club offers regular training sessions for men, women and juniors as well as an active racing calendar, and has been hosting the two-day August Bank Holiday regatta every year for more than 130 years, with more than 200 crews racing on each day.

Situated on the Wye's well known horse shoe bend, the club is open to new and experienced rowers of any age and has equipment suitable for all levels of ability as well as qualified coaches to oversee the training, which is offered all year round. Its junior rowing academy offers structured coaching for youngsters between 10 and 18 and is very active in regional competitions, as well as hosting a junior summer camp.
