Award winning owner Sandra Snell has been providing unique flower arrangements since she opened the shop around 15 years ago. In that time she's won silver and silver-gilt at The Chelsea Flower Show, as well as best in show at Malvern. ‘Last year I was even in the garden festival in Singapore,' she says.

As well her loyal local customers, business comes from all over the country through a floral agency and the shop's website. ‘It can get a bit hectic as it's just me and one other member of staff,' she says. ‘I enjoy doing weddings the most - I do a lot of wedding work. It takes up quite a lot of time, although there aren't so many during the autumn and winter - having said that I did one on New Year's Day this year!'

‘I specialise in some of the more unusual and exotic flowers - I always have,' she continues. ‘At the moment I've got three varieties of Anthurium, as well as Strelitzia, Proteus and cut Amaryllis that's more than a metre long, and I always get the new varieties of lilies and roses in - it's always the more unusual things. I've become known for that over the years and I use them in all my work, so people will have that incorporated in their arrangements or bouquets - it's quite a unique thing.'
