Live/work - coming soon to Ross

The Council is working with developers and advisers to create a new 'live/work quarter' in Ross alongside new technology and business premises at Model Farm. These will all help to define Ross as an enterprising market town.

In combincation with new live/work units for sale and rent, there will also be: a hub facility for local businesses and easy to let office space. The site will promote low/zero carbon buildings, high quality rural workspace and an attractive modern working environment.

At present the live/work proposal is for around 40 units including some affordable units and a hub facility. They will be located on the employment land nearest to the town, taking up around two hecatres of the total ten hectares available. The hub will be a highly visible centre for home based and creative businesses. It will a professional but welcoming space in which to collaborate and network with others. The hub will also offer meeting rooms, coffee and a range of equipment and facilities to hire.
